The SM3414B is an optical reflective absolute linear encoder module. The scale absolute code pattern is read and outputted via serial interface. An analog incremental signal can also be used for higher resolution employing interpolation. The device incorporates adjustments for absolute code binarization, threshold voltage and incremental signal I/V conversion gain.
